Where are you located?​

​Are you council registered?

​Yes! We are registered with the Whangarei District council and currently have (and have always had) an 'A' rating, which is the highest on the scale!

How do I place a custom order or get a quote?

Click here to send us an enquiry or here to go to our facebook page and send us a message. From there we can talk about what'd you'd like, provide you with a quote and book in your order.

How much are your cakes, cupcakes, cakesicles, and/or cookies?

Prices vary depending on the size of the cake or number of cupcakes, cakesicles, and/or cookies, as well as the flavour and design. Click here to go to our pricing page which will give you a rough starting price. Our online store may also give you a bit more of an idea on what your order will cost. If you'd like a quote, click here to send us an enquiry.

I’ve sent you a email/message, when can I expect a response?

We always try to respond as quickly as possible and will usually get back to you within a couple of hours or at least in the same day. Sometimes our response times may be longer if we are super busy so please allow up to 48 hours for a response. If you still haven’t heard from us after 48 hours, please resend your message. We respond to all messages so if you still don’t hear from us please check your junk folder or send your message a different way (eg. email, facebook etc) as there may be an issue preventing us from replying to you. Please note, we only respond during business hours and do not check messages on public holidays or on days we are closed.

How far in advance can I place an order?

We are happy to take custom orders up to 2 years in advance but orders on our online store can only be placed 90 days in advance. If you would like to order something from our online store but your date is more than 90 days in the future, click here to contact us.

How much notice do you need for custom orders?

Ideally at least 2-4 weeks is best but the more notice you can give the better. We can still make custom orders with less than 2 weeks notice, providing we have the space available and there is enough time to order in decorations (like edible images and cake toppers) if needed. We also have a selection of products on our online store which are perfect for those last minute occasions as some only require 48 hours notice (providing we have availability).

Can I add something to one of the products on your online store?

Yes of course! Send us a message with what you are wanting to order along with what you are wanting to add and we can let you know the additional cost.

I'm trying to place an order on your online store but my date is unavailable. Why is that?

We only allow orders on our online store to be placed up to 90 days in advance. If your date is more than 90 days in the future that will be why you're unable to order on your selected date, but get in touch and we can confirm if we are available and book you in. If your date is within the next 90 days but is still showing as unavailable we may be away on holiday or fully booked. Just send us a message and we can confirm if we are available to make your order or not.

Do you ship any of your treats?

Yes our cookies can be shipped anywhere in New Zealand. At this stage all of our other treats are available for pick up or local delivery only.

Do you deliver?

Yes we can deliver anywhere in Northland and further south on request. We charge by the kilometre so get in touch with the address you'd like your order delivered to and we can provide you with a quote for delivery.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, we require a 50% deposit to place your custom order. Your order is only confirmed once the deposit has been paid so its a good idea to pay this as quickly as possible to ensure your date does not fill up. Full payment is required to place an order on our online store, however we do have Afterpay available if needed.

Can I pay off my order?

Yes of course! Some people choose to pay it all at once, while others prefer to make multiple small payments leading up to their order date. Both options are totally fine with us! Half of your order total will need to be paid off 2 weeks before your order date (3 weeks for orders that will be couriered), and the full amount paid 1 week before pick up/delivery (2 weeks for orders that will be couriered). Contact us if you need more information. We also have Afterpay available if needed. If you are wanting to place an order on our online store but would like to pay it off (without using Afterpay), please contact us.

Can I choose different flavours?

Yes of course! We can do one flavour per tier of cake, two flavours per tier for our tall cakes, and one flavour per 6 cupcakes, 12 mini cupcakes, 20 cookies, and/or 12 cakesicles. We can also split cakes down the middle with one flavour on each side for an additional cost.

Is there a minimum order for cupcakes and cookies?

Yes, there is a minimum order of 6 cupcakes, 12 mini cupcakes, 20 cookies, and/or 12 cakesicles per order.

​If someone has an allergy can they order any of your products?

Yes! We can cater to a lot of different allergies. Please let us know of any allergies you or anyone else may have when enquiring. Also please note, although we do our best to avoid cross-contamination, all allergy friendly products are made using the same equipment and in the same kitchen as all our other products. It's just like supermarket items that say "traces of ..... may be present " or "may contain .....". We have a Gluten Free section on our online store, and plan to add options for different allergies very soon. All allergy friendly treats on our online store have the allergy mentioned in the title (for example "Gluten Free Bubble Cake" or "Dairy Free Bubble Cake"). If the title doesn't mention it is allergen free, it is not suitable for anyone with allergies but get in touch as it may be able to be made allergen free on request. There may be an additional cost, or design elements we need to change so please get in touch before ordering.

What options do you have that are gluten free, vegan, and/or dairy free?

Most, if not all of our cake and cupcake flavours can be made gluten or dairy free. We also have a few flavours that can be made vegan as well. Unfortunately at this time we don't offer allergy friendly cookies or cakesicles but hopefully we can very soon!

What buttercream do you use?

We use swiss meringue buttercream, which is a meringue based buttercream. We use it for most of our icings and fillings because it's more creamier but isn't as sickly sweet as traditional buttercream that is made with just butter and icing sugar. We promise its delicious but if you'd prefer to swap to traditional/american buttercream we can do that for any of our flavours except cream cheese buttercream and at no extra charge.

Is your swiss meringue buttercream and other products like lemon curd safe for pregnant women?

Yes! All of our recipes that contain raw egg are made using pasteurised eggs which means they are safe for pregnant women. If you'd feel better substituting to a product that doesn't contain raw eggs that's totally fine! An added bonus is that our lemon curd and the cookie dough used in our cookie dough cake, contain no egg at all!
